Press Forward

"Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life." 2 Nephi 31: 20

We're excited for the chance to reflect with the 2016 mutual theme. Our stake leaders asked us to write a song a few years ago to help instill this principle in the hearts of our youth. As we sing we've noticed that nothing instills a principle in us more profoundly than singing about it. Life is full of change and uncertainty. But our Heavenly Father's promises and love is an eternal certainty. He will always love us. He will always keep His promises to us. He will come through. He will make everything okay someday, if we will remain faithful and Press Forward ...holding on to Him.

We love the 2016 mutual theme and because of it we wanted to share our song Press Forward. We've put together a special collection of the song, the sheet music and the accompanying track. We have two different versions of the same song and lyrics. One is for male and female voices and has more upbeat music. The other version is more for chapel use. We also have sing-along tracks as well as sheet music for this song. We hope that you'll enjoy this song and join in saying I will press forward with faith.
